We are exactly what are name says: People Helpers. More specifically, we are Kid Helpers. We want to help children. Believe it or not, there are children in our local communities that simply don't have enough to eat. Surprised? So were we. That's what got us started...we heard there was a need and decided to do something about it. Our goal is to help fund established Backpack Programs in the St. Charles and Lincoln County School Districts, such as the Buddy Bag Program and others supported by local communities, churches, and, in some cases, Operation Food Search. These important programs provide needy students in the district with kid-friendly nutritious snacks and food options for the weekend and/or extended breaks when school is not in session. Typically, these filled bags cost approximately $5.50 each. For more information on how this program is administered each week, please click here for a list of FAQ's.
